I still watch Golden Girls on a daily basis. Bea was such a great actress. She will be missed.

I read that on Rue McClanahan's blog on another site. I CRIED my eyes out when I found out! I even got sick from the shock of it. I'm still in shock! I didn't think she'd die this soon.

    Rest in Peace, Bea Arthur.

Charley28: I think Estelle Getty died on July 22, rather than June 22. It was three days before her 85th birthday, which is July 25.

I'm still in shock from Estelle's death.

    I can't believe this.

"Get back here, you withered old Sicilian monkey!" Ah yes, just one of Dorothy Zpornak's many hilarious lines. There are too many to list. I, too, was shocked when I heard the news and very sad, because I didn't even know she had cancer. She was my favorite Golden Girl, and so talented in everything she did. I will miss her and her snappy one-liners.

Surprised and sad to learn of her passing. I wonder if the remaining two Girls will attend her funeral?

I can't even see her as an old lady, let alone dead. She was meant to live forever. Thank you so much for everything, Bea. Rest now.

It's just so sad. I found out through the internet when I got home. Even though, my mom knows how crazy I am about anything relating to the Golden Girls.

She was a spectacular talent and such a legend. She will be very missed. RIP Bea

    This is quite sad news.

First of all Wendy Richards dies, then Clement Freud and now Bea Arthur. Who will the Grim Reaper take next?

Rest in Peace Dorothy. Go to heaven and have a party.
