    Were the names of Rose's relatives made up names or were they actual names.

    I think some were and some weren't due to her saying her grand dad told her some stories.

    Most of them sound like perfectly good Scandinavian names. Olaf, Ingrid, I think there was even a Brynhilda in there. Not to mention, half of the people from the St. Olaf stories sound like they're from Little house on the prairie with names like Millie and Oswald.

    Except for Lindstrom i was curious if the other last names were made up or authentic Scandanavian names.
