George Devereaux: I was watching Law & Order today and he was the lawyer for teh defendant.  It was a good episode too.

This leads me to a question, did we ever see Charlie?

We met George, Sal and of course Stan, but not Charlie.

Is he like Mrs. Axelby of Are You Being Served? fame?

George Nylund was purely off-screen, and I think it was more to do with the fact that there was lack of storylines for Rose that incorporated flashbacks; most talkings of her past were the ridiculous stories she often told.

Nope, no Charlie. Unless you count the time that Charlie "took over" Sophia's body. Alas, even that was a joke she played to get Rose to give her money.

Also, there was an episode where Rose met a guy who looked like her husband in the spin-off Golden Palace. We could assume what Charlie looks like by looking at the guy.

I never liked GP and I gave it a chance too.  It's nice that they finally gave Charlie a "face".

It's funny how George's brother Jamie looked so much like him and then that guy looked so much like Charlie. It was a way to put them on without putting them on, since they were dead. Although there was the time Blanche had the dream about George, so I guess that counts as putting him on.
