in watching the episodes does anyone else ever notice that during the whole series, the claps at the end of the show sounded somewhat similar? do you think that the audience was real (cuz it was), but they put fake applause in at the end.

if you go back to the facts of life/jeffersons/who's the boss, their claps at the end all sounded identical, do you think they were fake too?

    can anyone help?

It's not uncommon for shows to have pre-recorded audience applaus in them. I don't know if Golden Girls was taped in front of a live audience, I had never heard that.

All episodes in every sitcom i believe has some canned laughter....unless there is forced laughter...because i cant believe that the whole audience thinks that every funny line is that funny...but there is laughter after everyone...but anyways i would really like to see an on or off laughter option

I think that if something REALLY funny happes on screen and the audience are whooping/laughing/screaming then it will get kept in. It makes the show even more funny with the audiences laughs. Don't you think? Cos you're laughing along with someone else
