I wish you had put a choice for "no least favorite" because that is the one I would have picked.

You can't have a "least favorite". We love em all. Most people just have one they love the most. Sorry.

They're all great. I don't think none of them have a quality that I dislike.

I chose Sophia because of the way she always spoke to Dorothy.  She had to just keep reminding her of the mistake she made with Stan and other things.

Don't get me wrong, she's funny, but ugh, putting Dorothy down was annoying and mean.

Wow this is really hard.... I would have to say Blanche. Not that I dislike her or anything just out of the four of them I liked her the least.

They all bring something great to the show-they were the 80's Sex in the City girls i've said it before and i'll say it again blanche was the only one that made GG's like sex and the city and even then
golden girls is VERY mild compared to that show i think sex in the city kinda qualify's as soft-porn

Lord, how does someone answer a question like this.  Goodness.  All of them bring something extra to the table.  I love Rose's dimwitted, kindhearted attitude.  I love Sophia's one-liners.  I love Blanche's sex appeal and I love Dorothy's strength.

If  I HAD to pick a least favorite it would be none of the ladies.  It would be Golden Boy--Miles.  Goodness, I felt like, "What's the big humpey doo?"  He was a stuffy college professor who confused the continuity of the show at some point, and he wasn't funny at all.  Rose deserved so much better.

    Am I right guys?

If I have to choose, I'll have to say Rose, but the 4 of them are great! By the way, Did you see Betty White in The Simpsons last sunday?

Wow, I am amazed at the response. Iam the only one on here who finds Dorothy's character abbrasive and acerbic. Don't get me wrong, the character itself was essential to the show, and her lines are among thebest insults delivered...I am surprised how much viewers like her and identify with her, though. She's so awkward and manly, overbearing and schmaltzy.

She's also the born loser of the four, the one who can't get a date, the one who's known for brains and not beauty, the one who seeks attention from losers: a manipulative former teacher, a burned out Beatlemania impersonator and her cheating, boorish ex-husband. She has wit but little charm. Even her wedding dress with its loopy ribbons in her farewell episode I thought was just the kind of tacky abomination suited for her character.

Ah, well...a chacun son gut.To each his own.

If I really had to choose someone as my least favorite, it'd be between Sophia and Blanche. But I like them all. They each have their funny moments.

Maybe that's why people like her. Dorothy's character is quite realistic. I can think of a couple of people like this (maybe not the manly part though) and they like that this person is real.
Not to say that there isn't a Sophia, Blanche or Rose out there, but there's definitely Dorothy.
Or maybe because people identity with her, they end up not finding her to be their least favorite.

    You are absolutely right Angelic_Anime.

I chose Blanche because how many times can we listen to her stories fo her many sexual escapades.

As for the others, Rose's stupidity gets redundant and hella annoying. And Sophia is like the most unsupporting mom at times. She always puts Dorothy down.

Dorothy is the my favorite because she's realistic.

I'm with you. I thoughtDorothy added something to the show, but I'm amazed, too, that so many people like her. She made my skin crawl.

i LOVED Dorothy! She was a bit sassy and sarcastic but her lines were the FUNNIEST! The way she talked to Rose just cracked me up!

I would have to choose Rose as my least fav. I like her but sometimes her stupidity would just run its course and it would be a little too much for me.
