When the Grief Counselling Center closes due to lack of funding, it leaves Rose out of a job. Rose is forced to pound the pavement for a new job. She learns that things have changed since she was a housewife 32 years earlier when she battles age discrimination. In the end, everything turns out for the best when Rose finds employment at a coffee shop.
Meanwhile, Blanche tries to lose a few pounds and Dorothy becomes excited when Barry Glick, her high school sweetheart contacts her and asks her out.
