Episode Recap

Blanche, Dorothy and Sophia are beyond excited to have tickets for a Burt Reynolds show. When the girls have their home fumigated, Blanche finds them a beautiful hotel at a very reasonable rate. Just as they're about to head out to see Burt, Blanche suggests they all have a drink. Three gentlemen come by their table and begin flirting. Suddenly it becomes obvious to everyone but Rose that the men believe them to be prostitutes. As the girls try to flee, an undercover detective tells them all to freeze. The girls are thrown into jail along with the much younger prostitutes who were there at the hotel. Tensions fly and Dorothy narrowly helps Blanche avoid a fistfight. Rose meets a woman named Meg from the neighboring St. Gustav after telling a St. Olaf story, and tries to talk her out of her current profession. When Sophia comes to bail the three out, she demands one of their tickets to see Burt Reynolds as payment. When all three of them refuse, Sophia grabs the tickets and leaves, laughing.

The next morning the girls are furious with Sophia for taking the tickets and running off, especially as she insists on rubbing in their faces all the interaction she had with Burt and Loni. Meg stops by briefly to let Rose know that she's quitting "the business" – the reason being is that she doesn't want to be as old as Rose and still hooking.

There's another knock at the door and standing before them is Burt Reynolds. He asks for Sophia, and she comes out. They have a lunch date, and before he leaves, Burt asks Sophia, "Which one's the slut?" All three of the girls raise their hands and say "I am!"
