  • Trivia

    • In another one of her "Get Rich Quick" schemes, Sophia and Rose sell Bacon, Lettuce and Potato sandwiches, saying it quickly in hopes that no one notices the potato instead of tomato.

    • During the scene where Sophia and Rose are sitting at the kitchen table, the cash box switches from being opened to being closed between shots.

  • Quotes

    • Sophia: Did you bring your wife along, Stan, or did you make her stay home and clean her toy box?

    • Dorothy: Let me guess, you were on your way to dinner in a beautiful restaurant when out of the corner of his eye, Stan caught sight of a little Pakistani restaraunt.
      Blanche: Indian.
Dorothy: Indian, drinks consisted of warm beer in two different shaped glasses, he did all the ordering, would not let you see the menu and when he paid the check he got change back from a $10.
      Blanche: A $5.

    • Dorothy: Where did all these flowers come from?
Sophia: Remember harmless old Uncle Vito? He sent a letter to Johnny No Thumbs? He addressed it to Johnny No Knees.

    • Blanche: (to Dorothy, about Stan) You want me to go out with a man you yourself describe as having the personality of a dial tone.

Stan: (breaks down) I lost it, Dorothy.
Dorothy: You never had it, Stanley.

    • Dorothy: Stan is the second most boring man on earth when he's depressed.
      Rose: Who's the first?
Dorothy: Stan when he's not depressed.

  • Notes

    • Blanche mentions in this episode that Stan is taking her to the Burt Reynolds Dinner Theatre. In the previous episode, Ladies of the Evening, the girls had tickets to see Burt Reynolds do theatre, and ended up meeting him in person.

    • The background shot during the closing credits features Dorothy, Rose and Blanche in the kitchen. Blanche sits eating grapes, talking about her date with Stan, while Dorothy sits at the table as well, listening, and Rose is fixing bacon, lettace and potato sandwiches at the counter in the middle of the kitchen.

    • It would seem that in Sophia's family, they ran out of names somewhere. In this episode she mentions her Uncle Vito, and in a later episode she says she got a postcard from her Cousin Vito.

    • It is mentioned that Rose has the highest suicide rate at the grief counciling center.
