    • In the beginning of this episode Sophia is serving food and there are four plates on the table, and Dorothy, Rose and Blanche are already seated. It is obvious Sophia was supposed to sit in the fourth seat, but then her back would be towards the audience. A few seconds later she is seen eating at the counter, directly out of the pot. Why would she set a place at the table if she wasn't going to eat it there?

  • Quotes

    • Sophia:I had a blind date.Actually,he's just legally blind.

    • Sophia: I'm going to sleep. I don't know how long I've got, but I deserve better company than this.

    • Dorothy:I don't think Stan and I would have gotten together had I known his entire family smells their fingers all day after they eat chicken.

    • Rose: Dorothy Zbornak, you might show a little compassion.
Dorothy: Catch me on a day when the story's about me.

    • Blanche: [Blanche telling the girls about her night with her late husband George's brother, Jamie] All we did all night was talk about George. How much George loved me, how George couldn't take his eyes off me, how George would have to save his money to buy presents good enough for me. It felt so good talking about George.

    • Dorothy: Rose, don't call the police.
      Rose: Why not?
Dorothy: Because they told you never to call there again!

    • Rose: As they say in St. Olaf, Va-Va-Va-Voom!
Dorothy: Is that where that comes from?
