  • Rose fears what her daughter will say when she finds out her father wasn't rich.

I didn't like this storyline, basically because Rose didn't seem "in character." The other girls also just danced around her mediocore story and there wasn't a solid B-story. This had the potential to be a little bit funnier, but the story with Rose and her daughter just didn't capture my attention.
  • Rose\'s daughter and granddaughter, named Charlie come to town to talk about Rose\'s late husband, Charlie\'s, will. Rose becomes embarassed when she has to explain where all his money went. Blanche becomes enthralled with a local murder in the news.

This is a good episode because it shows Rose\'s family coming into town to see her, which rarely happens in the show. Good episode. I also like to hear Blanche try to put the peices together about a local murder that is on the front page of every newspaper. Rose\'s granddaughter, oddly enough is Charlie, the same as her late husband\'s. She becomes slightly embarassed when she has to explain where all of Charlie\'s money has gone to over the years. As in most episodes involving the girls and their children, her daughter gets upset and makes Rose feel real bad, before making up at the end.
