In this episode Kirsten is delighted and charmed by the ladies and that her mother is living with them. However, in "Home Again, Rose" Kirsten is snarky and resentful that her mother lives with the ladies and goes to certain measures to keep them away from Rose in her time of need. This is not who Kirsten is set up to be here.
Blanche: If you think it's none of my business just say "Blanche, it's none of your business".
Dorothy: Blanche, you once caught me coming out of the kitchen naked with an Oreo in my mouth. We have no secrets, now ask your damn question.
Blanche: Wills make people do crazy things.
Dorothy: Like what Blanche?
Blanche: Like killing people. Do you know what they just uncovered in the Duncan Osgood murder case? That the day before she was murdered, Tippi Paxton Osgood had changed her will, making Duncan the sole heir to the Paxton Napkin fortune! That man is GUILTY!
Dorothy: Oh come on! That's circumstantial evidence! I mean, it's not enough to convict him!
Blanche: Well actually, the more damning evidence was the snapshot they found of Duncan dressed in scuba gear, dragging Tippi's body down the stairs, wrapped in a carpet.
Dorothy: Maybe it was from their wedding album.
Blanche: My whole life is an open book.
Sophia: Your whole life is an open blouse!
Rose: My granddaughter wants to be an astronaut.
Charley: Not really grandma, I just want to meet boys who want to be astronauts.
Blanche: Me too!
Blanche: You didn't eat your brussels sprouts.
Charley: I don't like brussels sprouts.
Sophia: Neither do I. (opens her purse) Put them in here with mine.
