  • This could have been the point where the show jumped the shark. . .luckily it didn't.

    2.1
To me, it all seemed too detective for me. The girls were all trying to be spies and catch criminals. I don't think that whole idea was needed. I don't think I can remember one funny part of this episode. It was all too just alternate reality and unfunny.

    • Rose mentioned that she sees the McDowells at the gorcery store and wrote down eveything they bought. But, when Martha comes over, she mentions that Rose followed her around the store yesterday. All the characters were in the same clothes. A day had not past yet.

  • QUOTES (5)

    • Al: Sophia seems to get a real kick out of calling me names, so I just let her do it.
Dorothy: She's really a very sweet woman. She just doesn't like to show it.
Al: Is that a family trait?

    • Rose: What was that sound?
Sophia: That was me. Thank you for calling it to everyone's attention!

    • Martha: Hi Rose.
      (Rose gasps)
Martha: It's me Martha, Your new neighbor. You invited me to dinner a couple nights ago then yesterday, you followed me around the supermarket.
      (Rose gasps)
      (Dorothy and Blanche enter)
Martha: Why is everyone staring at me?
Blanche: Because your handbag doesn't match your shoes.
      (Martha glances at her handbag)
Dorothy: We're a very fashion conscious neighborhood.

    • Rose: I followed her through the store and wrote down everything she bought.
Dorothy: Rose, they steal jewels, not Gino's Pizza Rolls.

    • Al: We'll use the bathroom as a lookout and the kitchen as a base.
Sophia: Fine. We'll just cook in the fireplace and pee in the broom closet.
