I read somewhere there is a rumor that it will be released on DVD in late 2006-early 2007--when I graduate high school . . . that would make a good graduation gift, lol

I taped all the episodes and I shuffle them up and watch them in any order. I wish they weren't EDITED though.

OK so if every GG set is released 3x a  year than we should see season 6 sometime in November or December of this year. Then season 7 should come in February or March 2007. GP might be released anywhere between  May or June (if they don't wanna wait) or they could wait, and release it in late 2007 or mid-2008.

I'm sure that GP will be released on DVD. With everything being targetted at the aging baby boomers, you can bet that The Golden Palace DVDs will be released eventually.
I never saw this series, and didn't even know about it until it was brought to Lifetime. I'm Canadian, and up until recently, only The Golden Girls was shown in syndication on TV here on a station called Prime (now called TVtropolis). Even my mother, who's been a diehard GG fan since the 80's said she didn't think she had heard of the show.
We're both curious to see it, now.

I Really Think The Golden Palace Should Not Have Taking Off The Air Cuz It Was A Great Show and A Great Intalment From The Golden Girls.
