Roland (to Blanche): I don't want to hear about your stupid personal life. Excuse me. (leaves the room)
Blanche: Oh, Rose, for the first time in my life, I had the big O.
Roland: Say what? (enters and sits down)

Blanche: I've always thought of myself as sort of a white Tina Turner.
Roland: Really? In what way?
Rose: Her skin is lighter. See, for instance, you'd be more like a black Tina Turner.
Roland: And I guess I could say you'd be like a dumb Tina Turner.
Rose: Well, you wouldn't be the first.

Blanche: Oh, my pens got here. Oh, good. Now, Rose, isn't it classier to say, "Pen is compliments from us to you"?
Rose: Oh, real classy. Except they left out the space between pen and is.

Blanche: I'm going to go slip into something that will make me look my best.
Rose: May I suggest a time machine?

Roland: I don't know much about Blanche's personal life, but so what if she likes to date?
Rose: I used to think that until this Ernie came along. This is the hump that broke the camel's back.
Roland: I think that's the straw that broke the camel's back.
Rose: Boy, you don't know much about Blanche's personal life, do you?
