Recurring Line: Dorothy: Walk away now and no one gets hurt.
(Dorothy is talking about her childhood experiences as a makeshift waitress for her mother)
Dorothy: (to Sophia) You used me!
Sophia: It was our quality time!
Dorothy: Quality time?! You referred to me as 'the help!'
Sophia: It was a nickname!
Dorothy: On Thursdays you'd lend me out to the neighbors!
Sophia: So? You learned the trade. Ingratitude. That's all I've gotten from any of my employees -- kids, my kids.
(after Roland dares Chuy to ask out the next woman he sees, Dorothy enters the hotel).
Chuy: Hey, mamacita! Do you move as good as you look?
Dorothy: Walk away now and no one gets hurt.
Chuy: (to Rose) Do you know what it's like to live with a foul-mouthed shrew for 8 years?
Sophia: (to Rose) Move it or lose it, you Danish dog.
Chuy: Guess you do.
[Rose is mopping the kitchen floor as Sophia walks in]
Rose: Sophia! Wet floor!
Sophia: I can't do that on command. You have to scare me first.
[Chuy comes down the stairs]
Rose: Chuy! Wet floor!
Chuy: What, did someone scare Sophia?
Dorothy: Ma, you look horrible! You're white as a sheet!
Sophia: That's because I'm in between heartbeats. Come back in 15 minutes, and I'll look like one of the last of the Mohicans!
When Dorothy arrives at The Golden Palace, the girls engage in their oft-observed "group hug" from The Golden Girls days!
