    • TRIVIA (1)

      • Goof: At the beginning of the show when the forensics expert is kneeling by the planter, he calls for his evidence kit, which is clearly visibly open beside him. Then, Jack goes to get the kit, which he then opens.

    • QUOTES (6)

      • Laviolette: Well, a two hour lunch. I'm beginning to get a sense of why the Dallas PD hasn't made a lick of progress in this case.
Stark: Hey! (picks up Violette and holds him in the air) Listen up, Bow Tie! I catch you sitting in my desk one more time, I will stuff you in that chemistry set of yours and roll you straight to Hell! You understand?! Do not pass go!

      • Lt. Ruiz: You two will assist.
Dan: Assist? Assist?! Dan Stark does not assist! Dan Stark takes dictation from no one! Dan Stark fetches no one their lattes! Dan Stark is nobody's secretary!
Lt. Ruiz: Detective, you will do this, and that is an order.
        Dan: You got it, Lieu.

      • Jack: Let's go bust a punk.

      • Dan: Well, I don't know what you learned in detective school, but back in my day, the rule was if you slept with a hostage, you have to save them yourself. That's why we have to do this thing.
Jack: Okay, wait a minute. I slept with Liz. Why do you have to do this?
Dan: Liz isn't the only hostage up there.
Jack: You did not! The lieutenant?
Dan: A gentleman does not kiss and tell. Yeah. Twice. Once in the car, once on the hood.

      • Jack: (to Lt. Ruiz) We will not fail.
Dan: I may fail you. It's too early to tell.
        Jack: No, we won't fail.
Dan: I feel like we're failing already.

      • Jack: Forensic science has come a long way.
Dan: You know, science can't explain everything. Like, what came before the beginning? Where does fur come from? How does a can opener work?
