I enjoyed this episode. There was nothing that memorable about it, but I just found it to be an interesting case, and a good look at the battles TV shows and networks go through with the FCC. Christina Ricci played her part well, and the idea of the birth mark was so over the top that The Good Wife actually found a way to make it work.

Great episode again, love how Clarke got played at the end. The phone call that Alicia had in the beginning about brazilian food & the joke at the end made by Theresa Dodd how does that fit together.? There has to be a connection. Love this show.

    • Laura: How did that go?
      Alicia: I don't think there's a job there.
      Laura: What did they say?
      Alicia: There's no job there.
Laura: But they said there was.
      Alicia: Yes, they lied.
Laura: Why would they do that?
Alicia: Because you're pretty, and they didn't want to say no to you.
      Laura: (stunned) Okay.
Alicia: People aren't mean, they're just polite liars.

    • Diane: You're selling us to Preston.
      Clarke: I'm considering your options.
Diane: Your options. We don't have any options.
Clarke: You had six years of options.
      Diane: So y-you're punishing us?
Clarke: I'm trying to keep you from liquidation.
Diane: By destroying us? By selling us off in pieces?
Clarke: No. By doing what I do. By looking where the money is and where it isn't. This is not a subtle business, Ms. Lockhart. There is either money in the wallet or there isn't. And when there isn't, wishing there is won't make it so.

    • Alicia: People change on you.
      Cary: You changed on me.
      Alicia: Me? No.
Cary: Oh, you don't notice it? You're tougher now. You're smarter about things.
Alicia: Is that good or bad?
      Cary: Probably neither, just necessary.
Alicia: And you. You're nothing like four years ago. I thought you were a jerk. (both laughs)
