A good episode to close out the year for this series here. It was not something the show has done before too, as they had the lawyers essentially being the brains behind other people in a case outside of Chicago. An interesting scenario, but the kind of thing only The Good Wife can deliver.

    Enjoyable hour of television.

Fantastic episode, the same court case in 2 county's, the condom thing, i dont want to think off Jackie having sex either. I have a feeling that Will & Laura mite hook up & what Kalinda did at first was brilliant with the car & finding the drugs. but what happened at the end, did Nick take the money & leave, when Alicia asked if he was ever coming back Kalinda said no you dont have to worry, he's not coming back In Kalinda speak, that could mean she killed him, we will never know.moreless

    • (After they found out that their client is actually guilty.)
Alicia: What about the defendant in Minooka?
      Will: What about him?
Alicia: I've been helping the prosecution convict an innocent man.
Will: No, you've been supplying the prosecution with true information to help them win a case.
Alicia: Yes. Against an innocent man. So what do I do? Out there in Minooka? Do I continue to help them convict a man I know is innocent in order to represent my client who I know is not?
Will: We have to zealously represent the interests of our client. It's our job. We can hate it, but it's our job.

    • Will: I wonder what the taxpayers would say about you helping the defense in another county get a murderer off.
Laura: Probably the same thing your creditors would say about you sending the state's attorney's wife.
Will: Whoever loses buys the other drinks. You're gonna lose.

    • Nick: I know you're the wife of the state's attorney. You don't want to say anything to anyone about this drug charge. Ever. Attorney client privilege and all that.
Alicia: Here's the thing, Mr. Saverese, attorney client privilege is voided if I'm threatened. So let me ask you this, and I suggest you take a moment before answering. Are you threatening me?
      Nick: You decide.
