  • The excellent John Noble - reason enough to like

    8.0
The murdered client was played by John Noble, of Fringe fame
  • Actor's name

    9.5
The actor who played the murdered client is John Noble. He's been in lots of Aussie shows including All Saints (he was familiar to me too :)
  • Good Wife, Death of a Client episode

Excellent episode! The smoothness in which the players interact is very impressive.

Can anyone tell me, please, who played the part of the murdered client? He looks VERY familiar to me.

    Thanks in advance.
  • Death of a Client

Good to have Matthew Perry back on the show, even for one episode. Surprised to see Peter punch him, but that was a refreshing change from the usual political battles on TGW, and other shows.

Odd episode, but John Noble's character was intriguing, and it was unique.
  • Busy and slightly annoying

    8.5
Some important things happen in this episode but the story is frantic and jumbled with too many distractions that take away from important character development.

I think sometimes the writers have trouble controlling themselves and it showed in this episode.

    • Eli: You know the way to battle a lie?
      Peter: With the truth.
Eli: No. With a bigger lie.

    • Ashbaugh: You don't like Bach?
Alicia: I love Bach. But I don't love the same Bach song over and over.
Ashbaugh: Mrs. Florrick, Bach song? Why do the smartest people hide their learning?
Alicia: To compensate for those who show off their learning.
Ashbaugh: I play the same Bach song because then they'll get bored and stop listening to me.
Alicia: Ah. So, the CIA is listening to you?
Ashbaugh: Mm, the bliss of the unparanoid.
      Alicia: Lucky me.

    • Alicia: You know the problem with bad people, is they use the arguments of good people.
Kresteva: The problem with good people is they think of themselves as good people.
Alicia: Okay, well, this has been fun. Die choking on your own blood, please.

    • Kresteva: You're in a funny mood.
Alicia: Well, I have decided life is too short not to be honest.
Kresteva: Mm, let's see how that goes. What's your husband's strategy for beating me?
Alicia: Using me. My status with women to take the female vote.
Kresteva: I like this side of you. And what about me are you worried most about?
Alicia: Hmm. Your psychopathic ability to lie and pretend it's the truth.
