Maybe the death row premise was a little cliched, but this show handled it so well. The court room scenes are always a pleasure to watch as the attention to detail, the legal accuracy, and the absurdity of the characters all while maintaining a sense of realism, is so refreshing.

The teleconferencing litigator became a bit annoying after awhile, but I am not opposed to the show throwing some comedy here and there. Really good season premiere, and the outlook for the rest of the year looks fun.moreless

Saving the black convict on death row is the most overdone plot line in TV law and crime drama. On medical dramas, it's the patient refusing life saving surgery for religious reasons. Was anyone really in suspense that the execution wouldn't really be carried out? Yawn!

Bang out of the gate and this episode was just full of storylines, maybe too many for me to follow, I personally don't think its a great idea for Alicia to start a new Law Firm with these young lawyers, they're just to green for me, I think Alicia should stay where she is and let Cary do his own thing and take Robyn with him or then again maybe she will leave. As soon as I saw Marilyn (Melissa George) working with Peter, I knew that wasn't a good thing and neither did Eli, so Marilyn gets a promotion to the Trans Authority Board. On the main death row case, well done by everybody including Will at he end who really saved Eddie and the fact that Eddie really was innocent. Fantastic Episode. Thumbs Up. All my Shows are coming back and some new ones.moreless
