  • I am so interested to see where this show is going...

I am so interested to see where this show is going, I like the idea of Alicia and Will together but not I do not know how I would feel if they went any further than what they did tonight, it is good for now, but I personally wouldn't make it a focal point just yet.

Even still, I just have to say I am in love with this show, everything the writers do for this show is pure genius! Plus I love that they have created a twitter universe starting with upriser7. Everything about this show is complete genius, honestly I wouldn't change a thing, keep doing what your doing!moreless
  • This is a good show. I like the twists in its cases.

    8.5
Bu more importantly I love the psycologycal twist of characters. I do believe that the Heart was realistic as well. Usually when a partner feels gilty they try to make it up with some extera effort like expensive gifts, Alicia tried to get back to her husbend. As a woman I totally understand it. She is trying to overcome the hurt and yet she fails because "she is deeply hurt". Although I can't imagine Alichia and Will together just yet (maybe in season 2) I do approve of it specially because it doesn't seem that Peter really understands what has he done, he is waiting for things to get back to "NORMAL" instead of trying to find a new ground, his family is not his first priority. I think every woman in this situation needs to keep her options open.moreless
  • Great episode, even if a lot of the cast didn't appear.

    8.0
I loved seeing Will so completely invested in the couple's plight. Usually he's more distant to the clients and Alicia is the one that gets too wrapped up in the cases. I mean, I get it. Alicia's the lead, and I love Julianna Marguiles, always have, but I also love Josh Charles and he's been underutilized for a lot of episodes. And, finally! Payoff for the Alicia and Will flirtation! Of course, it was followed up by Alicia sleeping with Peter (hope after all the women he's supposedly slept with they used those condoms she had in the last ep) but I'm still rooting for Alicia and Will.moreless
  • Defiantly a must see episode, it is very revealing and impacting episode to change the direction of the show.

    9.0
This was a good episode, it wasn't one of the best the story line was somewhat average, but with great with a great twist within Alicia personal life. It was about time that something happened between Alicia and Will, I'm glad that they only kissed and didn't go any further. I do like the idea of Will and Alicia together however it's not the right time for them yet. Also the reuniting of Alicia and her husband just made it that much better. In this episode Peter starts to cling to religion trying to get back together with Alicia. The episode moved very fast, the episode was well written and executed by the cast, can't wait to see what happens next.moreless

So, Will and Alicia kiss and she returns home to jump Peter's bones? For a show that has been pretty realistic so far this was a step in the wrong direction.

A lot of shows have been criticized for how they handle the lead man and woman. Some fans yearn for the day the two get together, and sometimes fans vehemently oppose a relationship between the two. I am in the latter group as far as this show is concerned. I have no desire to see Alicia and Will together. II feel that The Good Wife is really above that cheap writing and does not need to sink that low.

Let's hope this was the end of this.moreless

    • Will: If a doctor is not examining her within three minutes I will call the police and file a malpractice suit against you, personally. Don't make an enemy out of a lawyer, lady.

    • Eli: Religion is like a drug, in small doses it's curative, in large, it's addictive.

    • Alicia: Are you becoming religious?
Peter: I don't know. I don't know what I'm becoming. But I want to change.
      Alicia: Oh.
      Peter: No, really... change.

    • Will: (after losing his case) Let's make a deal.
Patti Nyholm: You just lost at craps, Will. You don't make a deal with the croupier; you just go home.

    • Will: We can't drop our class action.
      Alicia: I know.
Will: There are 68 other couples just like them. (she gives him a look) Yes, it's about the firm, too. But we can't drop the class action.
      Alicia: I understand.
Will: Don't you like this? Being a lawyer? Isn't it fun?
      Alicia: It has its moments.

    • Diane: You might think about going the political route. Get the state insurance commissioner to apply some pressure.
Will: He won't get involved; theres' no political upside.
Diane: He might for a friend.
      Will: Are you...
Diane: No, not me. Mr. Florrick. (he looks at Alicia on the other side of the window) It's a side benefit of having her on staff, right? Use her connections.
      Will: (His) connections.
Diane: Her connection to his connections? Is that a problem?
Will: No. I just think there are better ways to go.

    • Will: This isn't really your baby, is it? What's her name?
      Patti Nyholm: Bite me.
      Will: Is that Dutch?

    • Will: Please, tell me you have something good.
Kalinda: Well, I'm not sure what it is. And my method for obtaining it is not exactly legitimate.
Will: Illegitimate as in "I can't use it in court", or... we can go to jail?
Kalinda: I downloaded firmware and cloned Patti Nyholm's phone, in order to intercept her text messages. (he chuckles) What? You wanted something. I got you something.

    • Will: You came into my office. Last night, after you left, you came back to my office-- why?
Alicia: Will... help me out, please? I mean, we had... We had... whatever we had at Georgetown, and I just...
      Will: But you came back.
Alicia: I know. It was wrong.
Will: Because you're married? (she remains silent) Okay, I have a suggestion.
Alicia: I like work. I like working here. I don't want everywhere I go to be a mess.
Will: We're not going to talk about this. We're not going to say any more, okay?
      Alicia: Good.
Will: We're going to go to dinner in one week's time and we'll talk then.
Alicia: Please don't end up hating me. I need this job. I mean, I'm... I-I, I mean that... I'm sorry.
Will: (softly) Alicia. It's fine. We have bad timing. (he starts to walk away) We've always had bad timing.

    • Patti Nyholm: (to Alicia and Will) You two make a cute couple.
