So.. this episode continues where last one ended: Alicia gets the job and goes out with Kalinda and gets quite drunk and Will asks her to go to get some documents but it all ends in a murder case.. I mean.. that was unexpected and she.. when she has to do good, she was there in that kind of condition.

The case was not very exciting. Mostly Alicia's husband case was more catching and that attorney there. She was weird but it worked in the end. So I liked the whole family side of the story and for my surprise.. And at least now we know how Gary will be here longer.. but on opposite side. He is angry.. and he will use everything he can.moreless

Just one more episode of The Good Wife, a show that is cable quality on a broadcast network. Next year CBS is keeping the show in its Tuesday at 10 time slot, so hopefully the audience for the program can grow as anyone I know who has seen it has absolutely loved it.

Sometimes the problem with The Good Wife is that they try to do too much at once, but here I felt they didn't do enough. The case was not really even show here, no engaging courtroom scenes whatsoever, and we didn't really get that great an idea of Alicia's new and improved role with the firm. I almost thought I was watching an episode of Lost with the lack of answers we got tonight.

Here's to hoping next week's season finale is excellent.moreless

    • Jackie: (about Peter) He couldn't have done it without you.
      Alicia: Oh, that's not true.
Jackie: It is. We women stay in the shadows, we smile, we comfort, we nurse, but we're always there. You are a good woman, Alicia.

    • Alicia: Are you gay? (Kalinda doesn't answer) Oh, come on. We are talking about every single little detail of my life. It's a simple question.
      Kalinda: I'm... I'm private.
      Alicia: Ugh. Come on.
      Kalinda: What does it matter?
      Alicia: It doesn't.
Kalinda: Then why'd you want to know?
Alicia: Because I do. And how is this fair? I talk about everything.
Kalinda: I didn't say it was. You like to talk about your life. I don't like to talk about mine.

    • Julius: You're safe.
      Kalinda: I'm safe?
Julius: Pink slips are going out. There's gonna be a lot of blood in these halls in about an hour.

    • Glenn Childs: I want you to join us, I want you to...
      Cary: Yes.
Gleen Childs: I'll need your help with Alicia Florrick. She and her husband...
      Cary: Yes.
Glenn Childs: Good. See you tomorrow.

    • Diane: Are you dancing a jig inside?
Will: Like Rose on the Titanic.

    • Alicia: I just wanted to say I am sorry.
Cary: Sorry you got the job, or sorry for what you did to get the job?
Alicia: Sorry we both didn't get the job.
Cary: Alicia, here's the thing... you like to think you're a good person, and maybe at one time you were, but we both know you'll do whatever it takes. Sleeping with the boss? Check.
Alicia: Cary, if it makes you feel better to think that, then think it, but...
Cary: I don't have a name. Alicia, I don't have a fairy godmother I can phone up or the whole Chicago political machine. I had to work, I had to sweat, I had to make money for this firm and that's just not enough.

    • Kalinda: I phone Will, I tell him we're in a bar and that you're too drunk to go home. So you're getting a hotel room upstairs. Alicia, one night... no repercussions.
      Alicia: And tomorrow?
      Kalinda: Tomorrow you wake up.
Alicia: That's just not me, Kalinda.
Kalinda: Everything is you. Everything you want to be you is you.

    • Eli God: (talking about Peter's new lawyer) Golden says she's the better litigator. It's just easy to underestimate her.
Peter: Well, she must be very, very good, because I'm greatly underestimating her.

    • Alicia: (talking about Cary) They fired him.
      Kalinda: They kept you?
Alicia: I got a client last minute through Peter.
      Kalinda: Smart.
      Alicia: No.
Kalinda: You got a client. Cary would have done the same thing if he had that opportunity.
      Alicia: Kalinda, don't.
