It was really good episode. It was not only the case, what was different and really good, well written, having meaning and its surprising ending. I mean, it was quite clear from the start that Diane won't become judge but the choice she made.. it was right one and I liked the way they did it: not making it too tragic but just.. very beautiful.

I loved the case. The way the story developed, how the dig deeper and deeper and how the first solution, rassism, was not the right one and dealing with..

And the great sidestory with Grace. That was quite sweet and the way kids to the troubles of their mother/grandmother.. little funnymoreless
  • Another great episode.

Another great episode of The Good Wife tonight that featured an expanded look into the character of Jackie Florrick and just how far she will go to protect her family, not just by being abrasive, but by being downright violent as seen in this installment.

I liked the storyline tonight because it was something different. It was not a case with bad odds, it was a simple case with a problem-ridden judge. Sure, this is done far more often on TV shows like The Practice and Raising the Bar than it actually happens in real life, but it makes for good television, something that nobody can dispute.

Good episode tonight, glad this show is still so strong halfway through the season.moreless

    • Jackie: (talking about Grace's new friend) Her father's in prison, you know.
Alicia: Jackie, your son's in prison.
Jackie: Well, yes, but he's not in statesville.

    • Diane: You're doing a good job. My apologies if I haven't told you that until now.
      Alicia: Thanks you.

    • Kalinda: You want to make people mysterious. People aren't mysterious.
Cary: Okay, then the same thing goes for you. You're not mysterious. By the same logic, you're completely knowable.
      Kalinda: Sure.
Cary: Okay, so then hit me. I want to know. Go ahead.
Kalinda: Cary, you and I have nothing in common. 'cause you and I are from different worlds. And it's not just Mars and Venus. It's spaghetti and hydrogen. We're different categories. I'm knowable, but just not to you.
