While Diane and the team go through boxes of documents, mostly blacked out, Alicia must meet with a government monitor whose authority overrides attorney/client privilege. When counsel reveals damning evidence about the client, Alicia is asked by the monitor to reveal the evidence that would lead to his imprisonment… and if she doesn't, she may have to go to prison herself. So Alicia gets an attorney to help her with the questioning. At the State's Attorney's office, Peter decides to go after Will Gardner, who stole money from a client at his old firm in order to take care of his gambling addiction.
