      In the final leg of the race, teams arrive at Chesapeake Bay in Maryland where they have to haul and cook crab. Then the final two teams battle it out in front of the Capitol building in Washington, D.C.

      The final two teams arrive in Miami, FL and must compete to make a goal of $15,000. Once they've earned the cash they must head to the finish line in South Beach to earn the $100,000 grand prize.

      Season 6 - Episode 3
      The five teams arrive in Santa Fe, N.M., where they are faced with hot weather and hot flavors when Tyler challenges them to use peppers to create a dish that's representative of the city. Later, they are given only one hour to shop for an entire weekend of selling.
    • A Strange Brew In Portland
      Season 4 - Episode 2

      While in Portland, Oregon, teams must deal with a speed bump preventing them from restocking their supplies and then must deal with using geoduck as a main ingredient.

      Season 6 - Episode 4
      The final four race to Texas, where steak determines how much seed money each team receives. Later, a Speed Bump is encountered; and an elimination occurs during a visit to the Cadillac Ranch in Amarillo.

      The final two teams arrive in Boston and must use one of the city's famous ingredients. Teams then head to Maine to compete in the final stages of the Great Food Truck Race.

      Teams arrive in Armadillo, TX and are challenged with a Truck Stop challenge at a minor league baseball stadium. Despite an immobilizing Speed Bump later, teams all turn a larger profit than previously this season.

      Food truck teams arrive in Flagstaff, Arizona and must face their first Truck Stop Cooking Challenge.

      Season 3 - Episode 1

      Teams of aspiring Food Truck owners, eight in all, arrive in Long Beach California. Each team is given a custom designed food truck by the host Tyler Florence and compete for sales in Los Angeles.

      Season 4 - Episode 4

      Rapid City, South Dakota hosts the five remaining teams as they compete without their follow vehicle. On the following day teams must use a wild key ingredient and then race to a vista for an additional reward.

      While in Idaho, teams face a Speed Bump challenge where they must remove all starches from their dishes. On the following day, teams must rustle up their own potatoes to be used as a main ingredient.

      When the teams arrive at the Twin Cities, they must complete a Truck Stop challenge at both the Minneapolis state fair and a Spam cooking challenge in St. Paul.

      Mayor Rahm Emanuel acts as judge of a Chicago-style pizza themed challenged that the remaining teams compete in. The following day teams are challenged to sell 300 polish sausages and then race to a restaurant location for their reward/punishment.

      Season 6 - Episode 5
      Three teams arrive in Tulsa and are shocked when Tyler takes away their phones and Internet, which forces them to rely on landlines and maps to navigate around the city. The next day, they compete for customers at one of the last drive-ins on Route 66.

      Season 6 - Episode 2
      The teams travel to Arizona, where they learn the local delicacies of rattlesnake and rabbit sausage must be incorporated into their dishes, which they must sell from pink Jeeps.

      In Nashville teams must create a country picnic for a celebrity event. Teams later face a Speed Bump that gives someone time off.

      The five remaining teams believe they are going to Manhattan, NY but it turns out to be Manhattan, KS.

      In Arkansas teams must create breakfast dishes using a popular toaster pastry. A speed bump challenge forces teams to shut down their trucks overnight.

      Season 3 - Episode 6

      Teams arrive in Cleveland and must create an appetizer dish that can impress the guest judge. In a speed bump challenge teams lose their trucks and must sell by cart.

      Season 6 - Episode 1
      Seven teams of food truck owners begin Season 6 peddling their signature dishes on the Santa Monica Pier in California. Next, they travel down historic Route 66, stopping in Lake Havasu City, Ariz., where they compete to be the first to sell 20 orders of their specialty fish and chips.

      The five remaining teams head up the Pacific Coast Highway to Ventura County, where they jockey for selling turf as they prepare sweet and savory menu items for the California Strawberry Festival.

      The competition revs up for Season 7, with six family teams taking part in a funnel cake eating contest at a theme park in Los Angeles, where they will later feed a hungry crowd.

      Eight teams arrive in Santa Barbara, Cal., to compete for their very own food truck in the Season 5 premiere. Their first challenge is to define their brand and create a signature dish.

      The remaining three teams arrive at a peach farm in Athens, GA, where they meet Tyler Florence and Athens chef Mimi Maumus. The teams make a savory dish using the provided ingredients and peaches.
    • Battle for the South: Hot Chicken in the City
      Tyler Florence surprises the remaining teams with a taste of the Nashville's famous hot chicken, prepared by Nashville native and owner of restaurant 400 Degrees, Aqui Hines.
    • Battle for the South: Sweet Home Alabama
      In Tuscaloosa, the remaining five trucks face the challenge of having to crack the most pecans in 15 minutes. The teams then use their pecans in a dessert dish to sell.
    • Battle for the South: New Marching Orders
      The remaining six teams arrive at the Naval Air Station Pensacola in Florida. The highest grossing teams from the first leg of the race get to pick teams to work with to feed 50 service members. The teams pair up and have one hour to cook. The teams with the favorite dish get $200 added to their final till. They also hit the streets of Pensacola to sell their dishes. Tyler offers immunity to the team that can make the most profits off a dish featuring a full fresh red snapper.moreless

      Seven teams arrive in the streets of the French Quarter in New Orleans, where they meet host Tyler Florence. Their first challenge is to create their own version of a beignet and sell it in the French Market, adding their earnings to their seed money. In the second challenge, they must impress New Orleans celebrity chef Susan Spicer with a dish inspired by the popular Hurricane drink. One team is eliminated and six make it closer to the finish line and the grand prize of $50,000.moreless

      Season 5 - Episode 5

      The final four teams arrive in St. Louis and are greeted with a challenge involving a premium food product. The next day, they are given the chance to double their week's till.

      Season 5 - Episode 4

      Time-management skills are tested when the teams arrive in Oklahoma City, where they are forced to embrace local favorites. Included: Steak dishes are mandatory on Day 1; and prime meat is grounded by hand to make fried-onion burgers on Day 2.

      Season 5 - Episode 3

      The trucks pair up when in Austin for a event; and on the next day, switch trucks and sell their partners' food. Later, Tyler reveals that the elimination comes down to a $6 deficit.

      Season 5 - Episode 2

      The teams are told to come up with creative marketing campaigns when they arrive in Tucson, where they also face the challenge of putting their own twists on a hot dog loved by locals and performing a catchy jingle at a folk festival.

      Season 5 - Episode 6

      Three teams remain when the competition arrives in Mobile, Ala., where host Tyler Florence challenges them to cook locally. Also: He wants everyone to add a brunch dish to their menus.

      The Season 5 finale brings the remaining two teams to Florida, where they have to demonstrate what they have learned throughout the race as they vie to make the most money and win the top prize.

    • Battle for the South: The Race Through Savannah
      The final two food truck teams arrive in Savannah, and Tyler Florence's first challenge introduces the teams to a new mobile selling vehicle: pedicabs. Each team has a half hour to make as much food as possible to sell out of their own pedicabs.
