A space shuttle is about to crash, and only Ralph can save it. He does so, but ends up supermagnetized, perhaps permanently. Worst of all, a strange creature aboard the shuttle heads towards Los Angeles, electricuting all who get in its way.

Great beginning peters out

This plot had the perfect opening - Ralph needs to use the suit to rescue the space shuttle Columbia before it crashes to Earth (well Bakersfield, but everything always happens there!)

Funny moments in the first half: Ralph wondering if he's going to be squashed under the shuttle as he brings it in for a landing; becoming magnetized and attracting utensils and Bill's gun.

Then the story fell apart when it turns out that a space electrical alien hitches itself to the shuttle, and then goes into the LA sewer system. Problems with no remorse for shuttle incident, and the space alien itself - this is the type of plot line that was the beginning of the end.moreless
