  • Really bad.

    1.0
This is not something that pretends to be reality. Don't fool yourself. This is constantly yankee point of view of what terrorists are. You will never understand the real reasons that are to turn someone from average citizen to cold blooded terrorist. After all, that is what cinema are to tell us - the roots. None here. All characters are one sided and one dimensional. Pure binary representatives of human characters which cannot be seen in the real life. Apart from awful acting and numerous factual errors, this is just pure propaganda series which are meant to be shown only in America and I am mostly disturbed our local TV decides to show it at prime time.

1/10 from me and that is more than it deserves.moreless
  • A great limited tv series.

julianna margulies and dylan mcdermott are great in this show. the show itself is so compelling, it deals with the current islamic terrorism that plagues the whole world today. the plotting and planning are intriguing, the cat and mouse game feel real. though i feel the ending was somewhat unfinished, it's okay, overall the show made a good impression. it was entertaining, suspenseful it was a good show to watch and enjoy with a popcorn. it was well made and written well, the actors are great, they were an ensemble that made this thriller are enjoyable experience. this is a good show.moreless
  • Even though the writers have taken the time to thoroughly research every aspect of each character’s individual religion and profession, it still seems incredibly fictionalized.

“The Grid,” a brilliant deconstruction of the brutal current events of today’s news as told through a number of different national governments, religions, sexes and races in an attempt to define “the truth.” Led by an all-star cast primarily made up of American and British actors, “The Grid” delivers sharp writing and powerful characters, but it still doesn’t compare to the stark realism of shows like “24” and “The Shield.”

”The Grid” is actually a lot more like the film “Traffic,” which was an adaptation of the British miniseries “Traffik” that followed the many personalities involved in the war on drugs. While the story and flashy action sequences are certainly a major part of the finished product, director Mikael Salomon and writer Ken Friedman are much more interested in developing the numberless characters that appear throughout the miniseries.moreless
