Episode Summary

Billy Gets an "A"/ Yeti or Not, Here I Come
Billy Gets an "A": Billy gets an "A" on his test for the first time.

Yeti or Not, Here I Come: Grim realizes that he forgot to reap the Yeti.

Who was the Episode MVP ?

  • Billy gets an A. A true sign of the apocalypse.

The second part is when this yeti needs to get reaped but outsmarts the group(oh my gosh...someone actually outsmarted mandy...sign of the apocalypse) and finally gets captured in the end. It was funny when Mandy gets smashed by the tower. In the first part, which is really funny, Billy gets an "A" with the help of Grim leaving them in an alternate universe in which everyone(except Mandy of course) turns opposite of themselves. They keep having to go back in time in hope to stop Billy. In the end Grim says"Could this ever end???" and then it just says the end. Although this wasn't the best of the best, it was up there all right.moreless

Trivia, Notes, Quotes and Allusions

  • TRIVIA (3)

    • Abom is one of the few characters to both outsmart and seriously injure Mandy. However, in later shots, Mandy doesn't show any visible damage on her in any way.

    • When Billy is answering Ms. Butterbean's questions, there is writing on the chalkboard behind him. But after he finishes the questions, the writing is gone.

    • When the Grims and Mandy go back in time to when Billy was born, there were 5 Grims, when there should be 3 as the trip to Billy's birth was mentioned as third.

  • QUOTES (8)

    • (Billy sees the Abominable Snowman)
Billy: Mandy! there's someone else up here!
      Mandy: Who is it, Billy?
Billy: I don't know? He's hairy, smelly and not wearing any clothes.
Mandy: Billy, how did your dad get all the way... Wait who are you?

    • (Billy cries because he failed a test)
Grim: Well it's about time you got a dose of the real world, Billy.
Billy: But I like the cartoon world better. How else can I do things like this. (Billy proceeds to squeeze his nose until it pops and oozes all over Grim)

    • Billy: Mandy, do you know what this means? This test may stop me from fulfilling my life long dream of growing up to be a smart and successful business woman.

    • Billy: Well, I plan on studying my butt off this time. I'm determined to beat my "D-" average.
Mandy: You can't stay focused on one thing for more than 5 seconds. Your tiny brain is simply incapable of paying attention. In fact you're probably already imagining me as a freakish creature with a giant fish head with a chicken body that has tentacles of some kind, sporting a huge gold chain that lays delightful chocolate filled eggs.

    • Asian Man: So, it is settled. Your tenth son shall marry my twelfth daughter.
Billy's Dad's Ancestor: Throw in a couple of hot dogs and you got yourself a deal.

    • Mandy: Find him, Grim. Find him, and hurt him... (tower crashes on her) Ow.

    • Hoss: (with "The Next Day" painted on his chest) The next day...

    • Hoss: (with "One Week Later" painted on his chest) One week later...

  • NOTES (6)

    • Apparently, Billy has an Asian ancestry.

    • Strangely, this is the first time Grim has ever used the blade of the scythe to open a portal.

    • This is the second time when a main character is changed slightly, it majorly affects reality. The first time was when Mandy smiled from My Fair Mandy.

    • This is the second time a "The End" tag is shown at the end of the episode since Loser from the Earth's Core.

    • This is the second time Mandy and Grim try to capture a creature for money since Bearded Billy.

    • Alternate universe changes when Grim turned Billy's "F" to a "A":

      1) Billy becomes smart.
      2) Billy's parents' genders are switched.
      3) Sperg is a defenseless nerd with braces.
      4) Irwin is a chick magnet.
      5) Pud'n is a bully.
      6) Ms. Butterbean is nice and seems to actually care somewhat about teaching.
      7) Mandy and Grim are the only ones who didn't change in any way.

    • Grim: Whoa! Dude look like a lady!

This is a reference to the Aerosmith song "Dude Looks Like A Lady."

    • The egg in the montage of Billy's butt being the egg's father is similar to Sheldon of Orson's Farm from Garfield and Friends, both of which are unhatched eggs with legs.

    • When Grim says he can't afford an 80's sports car as a time machine, he is referring to the De Lorean DMC-12 used as a time machine in the Back to the Future movie trilogy.

    • Episode Title: Yeti or Not, Here I Come

It is a spoof of the phrase, "Ready or not, here I come."

    • Episode Title: Billy Gets an "A"

It is a parody of The Simpson Episode, Lisa Gets an A, which was in turn as a reference to another Simpson's episode, Bart Gets an F.
