The title of one of Grim's fake country albums is, "Lying Like An Angry Woman" This relates to the "Like An Angry Woman" running gag song from the episode, Fear and Loathing in Endsville.
In Sickly Sweet, Mandy couldn't pronounce the word "please" without it being clear. But in Scary Poppins, Mandy says "Okay, go suck a lemon, please" without any problems.
(Response: She had to say it nicely. But in this episode, she said it to be rude)
In A Grim Prophecy, Grim's Dad knew he was the Grim Reaper. So why did he always think Grim was lying?
In this episode, Grim ran away and eventually turned into the grim reaper from a young country rocker. In the episode A Grim Prophecy, Grim was forced to become the grim reaper by his father.
Grim's Dad is voiced by Kurtwood Smith, who also plays Red Foreman on That 70s Show. Grim's Dad is modeled after this character to a fair extent.
Grim said that his Dad was eaten by Cerberus back in Mandy Bites a Dog. (Response: that doesn't mean he didn't live through being digested)
Billy: (as Grim is about to zap Mandy's parents) Be careful, Grim.
Grim: Yes, "careful" is my middle name. I never forgave my mother for that.
(during the end credits, Mandy and the Nanny are having a battle of wits)
Mandy: It's going down.
Nanny: It's going way down.
Mandy: All the way down.
Nanny: All the way down to the ground.
Billy: (breaking up the battle) ALL RIGHT ALREADY!! This is boring! You are boring me! Why don't you guys move to the part where you battle with your laser swords?
Mandy: The less we know, the better we feel.
Mandy: (to Billy's Mom) Go suck a lemon.
Billy's Mom: Now, young lady, in this house, we say please.
Mandy: Fine. Go suck a lemon, please.
Billy's Mom: That's better.
Grim: Hold on, she's the Nanny! Yeah, she's on that television show "Hey Nanny Nanny". It's another one of those annoying reality shows that are all the rage right now! She travels all over the world... and Burbank... helping parents deal with their spoiled rotten brats!
Billy: So what's she doing here?
(pause)
Billy and Grim: OHHHHHHH!
Billy's Dad: I mean yea! Go home to your own... hold on, you mean to tell me that Mandy isn't our daughter? This whole time I thought she was! And what now, you say she isn't? So tell me... who does Billy belong to? How much of my life is a lie? Is our marrige fake? What about this house? My shirt? My underwear? Is this all part of some interplanetary conspiracy to make me think I'm a lowly construction worker?
(Mandy leaves Billy's house)
Nanny: (to Claire) Girl, you best get out of my grill if you know whats good for you.
Grim's Dad: (chuckles) What a boy won't pretend to be to get his dad's love.
Billy: I once pretended to be a peanut butter and bologna sandwich! My dad loves those. I still have the teeth marks! (holds out his arm and we see teeth embedded in it)
Look Hard: When Mandy commands Endsville to take out the nanny, Jeff the Spider can be seen.
Mandy has a power of mind control, as she has the power to command her parents.
Credits: Mandy and the Nanny are having a battle of wits. Billy breaks them up, exclaims that they are "boring" him, and told them to use "laser swords" to duel.
Look Hard:
During the credits, you'll notice that the name of Mandy's Dad is Phil.
We learn that Grim's Dad likes country rock music.
The name of Mandy's Mom is Claire.
We learned that the name of Grim's Mom is Miriam.
This is the second appearance of Grim's Dad.
Nanny: Be strong with her, don't back down! She'll respect your authority.
The quote "Respect your authority" is famous for being used by Eric Cartman in South Park. However, "Your" is usually replaced with "My".
Country Bears:
The backup group of bears is a spin off of the Disney movie, Country Bears.
Jedi Mind Trick:
Mandy controls her parents by telling them what they want to do and making a hand motion which is a reference to the Star Wars movies' jedi mind trick.
Mandy being in charge of her family could be a reference to The Twilight Zone episode It's A Good Life. Where a young boy controls his family with unnatural powers.
Billy telling Mandy and the nanny to fight with laser swords could be a reference to the Star Wars movies.
