nergal kidnaps billy and mandy and makes them his new friends. billy is happy but soon they both want to go home. grim is not missing billy and mandy at all, but soon he wants them back. will nergal give them back or will grim come up with a plan to get them back, or is it too late and they must be with nergal now forever?

good episode, not perfect but not terrible. Nergal isn't that great a character in here, he is better in other appearances i think, anyways, the episode's grade is in the "B" range methinksmoreless
  • The episode that introduced Nergal as a character.

    8.4
Once again, this episode isn't epic, but it's still a fine installment. It was the first time Nergal, the demonic creature from the center of the Earth obsessed with finding friends, ever appeared on the show. Just like in all his early appearances, Nergal is voiced by David Warner, who gives Nergal a more sinister tone than his second voice actor (who still did a impressive imitation). Unlike later episodes, Nergal is a loner without a family. Because of that he plays the role of arch-nemesis to the main characters, while he's more of a side character, a friendly rival, or even an ally in more recent storylines.

Not perfect, but I still love the classic episodes (unlike everyone else, apparently).moreless
  • The Whole Season's falling apart

    6.0
Oh, c'mon Maxwell Atoms! What was that? Well, the title was kind of getting my attention - Fiend is Like Friend Without the R - but still, a horrible storyline. Well, for an episode, it was okay. But for a Grim Adventures of Billy and Mandy episode, I thought it was pretty terrible.

This episode isn't very original, has been overdone multiple times, and is generally just creepy and messed up. Um, not a favorite. Most definitely.

This is definitely one of the worst episodes out there.

    At least -I- think so.moreless
