In "A kick in the asgard" Odin claimed that Loki the trickster was his son. That's not true at all. In fact, Loki wasn't even a god at all, he was a giant that Odin swore brotherhood to. But Loki killed Balder, the first norse god to die and was Odin's son. Beacuse Odin swore brotherhood to Loki, he couldn't kill him. But he banished Loki from Asgard and was never allowed to return again. So Loki couldn't have come up there. Also, another flaw is that in this episode is that Asgard is shown to be peacful, but in norse mytholigy it's not. And for a very good reason too: Ragnarok, A.K.A. the end of the world. The myth is this, the norse gods CAN live forever, but they will be killed some day. They just don't know when. And they will die protecting earth from evil for as long as they can. But the world will end, and they know it. That is Ragnarok. Although, I think that in this episode it doesn't really matter, since it's so wierd anyway. They might have already known, they just did it on purpose just to be silly.moreless

Great episode. Test of Time had some parts that I didn't really like, like boringness, but everything else was fine. Billy needs help because his book report was due, so with Grim's Magic Remote Thingy, Billy "can" get his book report done, but decides not to. A Kick in the Asgard features Billy winding up in Asgard for a drink of some fresh root beer.
  • A very funny episode. I just couldn't stop myself laughing

OK out of all the grim adventures og billy and mandy this has got to be the funniest one I ever saw(test of time). At the end billy falls in love with a cave women and then something very very weird but very very funny happens in 5000000000 years later everyone has a nose, some facial features just like billy and are all dumb. seeing mandy with billys nose and dumb care free atitude was just priceless and actual seeing her smiling. you gotta watch this one Grim adventure fans.moreless

  • TRIVIA (3)

    • Why was Loki at Asgard? In Norse mythology, he was tied to a mountain on Earth with a snake dripping venom on him as punishment for his misdeeds. Plus, this happened before the present day, so this could not be before it happened.

    • The "Vikings" are supposed to be Norse. But at the entrance of the root beer fountain, the sign says: Poortbewaarder, which is Dutch for "Gate Guard".

    • Odin claims that Loki left one of his eyes blind with a slingshot in this episode, however, in real Norse mythology, he lost his eye sacrificing it for a drink of wisdom.

  • QUOTES (6)

    • Irwin: Do you know what language they speak in some parts of Canada?
Billy: Oh, oh they talk turkey!
      Irwin: They speak French
Billy: Oh I was gonna say that.
Irwin: And do you know the they call the language?
      Billy: Turkey!
Irwin: No, it's the language of love. (looks seductively at Mandy)

    • Billy: Awesome! We're gonna watch TV?
Grim: This is not a television remote. It's a universal remote control.
Billy: Whoa! That's great! We'll take that unicorn remote and whack my sister's teacher on the head, and then she'll go un-subconscious and faded a new level, head for the border and hide out in Belgium. So we steal this truck and drive all night like two escaped converts on the lam. And then when we get to Bolivia, we begin a new life, and we start a flying mackerel farm. Bawk-gawk, bawk-gawk!

    • Narrator: So did Billy conquering all of Asgard, and having no further concern. He ate many chickens and drank much soda. Honor and fear were heaped upon his name. In time, he became a king by his own hand, but that is another story.

    • Billy's Dad: Hey, my brain was in there!
Brain: Put me in the freezer!
Billy's Dad: Young man, you can be rude, break furniture, run up phone bills, shave the cat, and even harass your mother! But when you touch the pomp, IT"S GO TIME!!
Billy's Mom: See, Harold? I told you it was not a good idea to give Billy doughnuts three times a day!!

    • Grim: (after testing the universal remote control) So now you see, Billy. With this device, we can go back in time you need to study for that report.
Billy: (swipes the remote) Or we can have a ton of fun!
Grim: Come on, Billy. Hand it over.
      Billy: Yeah, right! As if!
      Grim: Why, you little!

    • Billy: (to cavewoman) Do you know what language they speak in CANADA?
