Why was Loki at Asgard? In Norse mythology, he was tied to a mountain on Earth with a snake dripping venom on him as punishment for his misdeeds. Plus, this happened before the present day, so this could not be before it happened.
The "Vikings" are supposed to be Norse. But at the entrance of the root beer fountain, the sign says: Poortbewaarder, which is Dutch for "Gate Guard".
Odin claims that Loki left one of his eyes blind with a slingshot in this episode, however, in real Norse mythology, he lost his eye sacrificing it for a drink of wisdom.
Irwin: Do you know what language they speak in some parts of Canada?
Billy: Oh, oh they talk turkey!
Irwin: They speak French
Billy: Oh I was gonna say that.
Irwin: And do you know the they call the language?
Billy: Turkey!
Irwin: No, it's the language of love. (looks seductively at Mandy)
Billy: Awesome! We're gonna watch TV?
Grim: This is not a television remote. It's a universal remote control.
Billy: Whoa! That's great! We'll take that unicorn remote and whack my sister's teacher on the head, and then she'll go un-subconscious and faded a new level, head for the border and hide out in Belgium. So we steal this truck and drive all night like two escaped converts on the lam. And then when we get to Bolivia, we begin a new life, and we start a flying mackerel farm. Bawk-gawk, bawk-gawk!
Narrator: So did Billy conquering all of Asgard, and having no further concern. He ate many chickens and drank much soda. Honor and fear were heaped upon his name. In time, he became a king by his own hand, but that is another story.
Billy's Dad: Hey, my brain was in there!
Brain: Put me in the freezer!
Billy's Dad: Young man, you can be rude, break furniture, run up phone bills, shave the cat, and even harass your mother! But when you touch the pomp, IT"S GO TIME!!
Billy's Mom: See, Harold? I told you it was not a good idea to give Billy doughnuts three times a day!!
Grim: (after testing the universal remote control) So now you see, Billy. With this device, we can go back in time you need to study for that report.
Billy: (swipes the remote) Or we can have a ton of fun!
Grim: Come on, Billy. Hand it over.
Billy: Yeah, right! As if!
Grim: Why, you little!
Billy: (to cavewoman) Do you know what language they speak in CANADA?
We learn that Billy's Dad has his brain in the round part of his hair.
Even though Billy caused a defect in evolution, to make everyone look like him, Mandy technically smiled, even thought it was Billy's goofy smile.
Mako was also the voice of Aku from Samurai Jack.
Running Gags:
1) Billy says "Gesundheit".
2) Mandy calls Billy "Pinhead."
We see how Billy looks in the future.
Episode Title: A Kick in the Asgard
This is a spinoff of the phrase, "a kick in the a**," which means you got beaten up badly by someone or something.
Billy's Dad: It's go time!
This is one of Buck Tuddrussel's favorite catchphrases from the show Time Squad
Time-Space Remote:
The time-space remote is similar to the one from the Goosebumps episode, Click, when Seth Gold uses it for the wrong thing, such as pausing his sister and dog and/or cheating on the test.
Name: Stephen Hawkwing
It is a spoof of Stephen Hawking, the paraplegic physicist who uses a computer as a voice box.
The credits is a parody of the closing sceen of Conan the Barbarian.
Grim: Why, you little...!
It is the same trademark phrase when Homer Simpson gets ticked off and is about to strangle Bart (which Grim doesnt do).
