King Poppin' Lockin' talks like a Italian gangster and Irwin's mummy mom speaks in a different language.
Irwin says he's part mummy, then he proceeds to take off his pants. His lower body is wrapped in bandages. But he's been seen naked before and there were no wraps.
In this episode, Irwin's mom's skin is blue. But in That's My Mummy, her skin was brown.
Coach: Don't get sloppy! When you get sloppy, and your wife suddenly don't let you eat steak on Tuesdays.
Billy's Dad: Why just this very morning, I did a heart transplant!
Man: (in flashback) Wait, wait! I think that's a tomato! (dies)
Pud'n: What happens if I eat the chocolate cupcake?
Irwin: Chocolate gives me diarrhea, yo.
Pud'n: I don't want any diarrhea!
Billy: Ooh! Then can I have your diarrhea?
Billy: P.E. makes my heart beat all fast. (breathes heavily) It makes it hard for me to breathe. (breathes heavily) It makes you all stinky. (breathes heavily) And it makes Pud'n barf up in his mouth.
Billy: Hey, Irwin. How come those three nerds never have to do any of this 'physical' stuff?
Mandy: (looks around) Quick! Jump into the TV while they're not looking.
Sperg: (runs in and grabs the scythe) Gimme that! (runs off)
Grim: I stopped caring like five episodes ago!
The boy with square-shaped eyeglasses look like C.H. Greenblatt from the Monster Manual in The Love That Dare Not Speak Its Name.
Credits: Grim and Wiggly do battle. Wiggly kept throwing colored egg-shaped rocks at Grim until he falls. Mandy applauds their actions and muttered, "idiots."
This is the first appearance of King Poppin' Lockin', Irwin's grandfather.
The colors on Mandy hair and clothes look paler than the ones from previous episodes.
This is the second appearance of Irwin's Mummy Mom and the Tooth Fairy.
This is the second appearance of the Secret Snake Club.
The second line of the Secret Snake Club oath is "by Grapthar's hammer." This is a line from the film Galaxy Quest, in which Alan Rickman's character says it frequently and hates it with a passion.
The enchantment used to summon the snake is actually the first part of the song "Daydream Believer" perfomed by the Monkees.
When one of the nerds in "The Secret Snake Club vs P.E." say, "A level 60 warlock with shadow damage and stamina" he actually is making a reference to the MMORPG, "World of Warcraft".
In "King Tooten Pooten", when King Poppin' Lockin takes Irwin to the museum, there is a ring that resembles the stargate from the sci-fi series, Stargate SG-1.
The scene when Wiggly is giving them a choice between the red or blue cupcakes is similar to a scene in the Matrix. Neo is given a choice between 2 pills, one blue and one red. The blue pill will knock him out and allow him to wake up with no memory of what happened, whereas the red pill will allow him to learn more. This exact situation is parodied, only with cupcakes instead of pills.
Wiggly: (to Billy) Who sent you?! The Heathers?
Wiggly's question is a reference to a 1989 movie called Heathers starring Winona Ryder. The movie was about an ultra-cool clique of girls all named Heather and a girl named Veronica who is unwittingly conned into helping to kill anybody that she hates at her school.
Billy's Dad once performed a heart transplant were he switched a man's heart with a tomato, which is very similar to how Kenny dies in the featured film, South Park: Bigger, Longer, and Uncut after his heart is replaced with a baked potato.
Dune: The "thumpers" the Secret Snake Club uses to summon the snake are an allustion to the movie Dune where such devices are used to summon Sandworms.
Episode Title: King Tooten Pooten
It is a reference to the youngest Egyptian pharaoh Tutankhamen.
