  • Quotes

    • Callie: My hero. (She kisses Frank on the cheek.)
Joe: Hey, what am I? Chopped liver over here?

    • Joe: W-wait a second. There's two cars besides ours. If Sonny owns one of them, who owns the other one?
Frank: What difference does it make? We've got to find Sonny.
Joe: It could make a difference.

    • Frankenstein: Keep it under your hat. We don't want to scare anybody.

    • Frank: You know, you make some detective. I'd like to see you follow a guy for more than a block without stopping for a burger.
Joe: I'm a growing boy. I need nourishment.

    • Frank: What are you worrying about cheeseburgers for? We've got work to do.
Joe: Well, if we're gonna pay for 'em, they ought to be the way we like 'em.

    • Joe: This is amazing.
Frank: No, this is a maze.

    • Joe: Follow that ghost.

    • (Joe looks after the skeleton that slid through the brick wall.) Joe: Didn't you used to go out with her? Frank: Funny.

    • Joe: A child could get out of this place. Simply-
(Joe opens up a door to find a brick wall behind it.)
Frank: We'd better find a child.

    • Joe: Frank.
Frank: Don't worry. It's just like being in an amusement park.
      Joe: I'm not amused.

    • Joe: Now I know we're all having nightmares. Dad's the last man in the world to believe in haunted houses.

    • Police Officer: In other words, you go to bed.
Frank: Bed. (Something dawns on him.) Bed! That's it!
      (Frank walks off)
Police Officer: Wish my kid would mind like that.

    • (Frank comes in the from door with two police officers, pantsless)
Gertrude: Frank, what happened to your pants?

    • Gertrude: Your father will be home from his fishing trip in the morning.
Joe: I can't wait to see what he caught.
Gertrude: Now what is it you two aren't telling me?
Joe: There's nothing to tell Aunt Gertrude. We're just as much in the dark as you are.
Gertrude: In the dark about what? Joe?

    • Frank: We may have to follow him on foot.
Joe: Hold it. You don't mean in there?
Frank: You know a better way to find out what's going on?
Joe: I'm not so sure I want to know what's going on in a cemetery.

    • Frank: We may have to follow him on foot.
Joe: Hold it. You don't mean in there?
Frank: You know a better way to find out what's going on?
Joe: I'm not so sure I want to know what's going on in a cemetery.

    • Frank: Joe! Are you all right?
Joe: Terrific. What hit me, a train?
