Miranda takes on her mother much to everyone's astonishment and they all argue to save their show, the council say the centre might be saved but they probably will have to abandon their show. Steve Tells Wal he has the chance to travel to Cannes, but he didn't think he could because he had to look after Tam, Wal tells Steve that he will look after Tam and that Steve should follow his dreams. Tam is upset when Steve tells her, she wanted them all to be a family again, Steve tells her they have both grown up now and they have an emotional farewell, Steve says he will leave after the show, if they do the show, Tam makes him promise to be careful. The gang wait at the Youth centre for the verdict, Helen arrives and tells them all they can put on their show, they are all thrilled. As preparations get underway Wal is brought back in for questioning again, Tam is taken too when she shuts her mouth off about her dad being innocent because Harry said he was when she was kidnapped. Carol arrives excited about her next date with Trevor but gets nervous that Tam won't get back in time to sing her songs and Helen tells her she will have to do it herself. Mick gets on the wrong side of Mr. Boyd for skipping school yet he has made a miraculous recovery to go and see the show. As Marty takes the stage he gets stage fright, Carol shouts "Yey Marty!" backstage and everyone claps, he gets his confidence back, Mr Summers proudly sits in the audience clapping away. Tam arrives much to Carols relief but is upset her dad wasn't released with her and fears he may not make it in time to see the show. As the others perform, Vinnie does a mickey take of Mr. Boyd and he sits in the audience next to Mick trying not to laugh, Marty does some magic, and Brains and Sally try a punk version of Romeo and Juliet, Tam keeps checking from behind the curtain to see if her dad is there yet. Eventually it's time for Tam to sing, she starts but is so overcome as she stares at her dads empty chair she can't sing, everyone is worried about her, she starts again and as she stalls on the second verse Carol sings it, they end up doing a duet, in the middle of it Wal arrives and proudly takes his seat, while Carols dad watches proudly too. The end of the show has a presentation for Helen, who announces that the centre will remain open. Tam notices Wal and Steve side stage and goes over to them, Steve tells her because of what she told the police Harry confessed everything and Wal is in the clear, all the charges have been dropped, it's all over. Helen announces Steve is leaving and wishes him luck. Tam then takes the mike and tearfully tells everyone that Marty saved her life, the gang give him a cardboard medal and everyone cheers, no one more than his very proud father. Tam sings the theme song dragging Steve centre stage, as Trevor plays with his band and Miranda and Ahn hand out streamers, Mr Summers takes to his feet clapping and the rest of the audience join in. It looks like finally a happy ending for the Henderson Kidsmoreless
