I read in People magazine that.Jason Wahler is engaged to some Tennis player and Lauren was there when he proposed along with all his close friends.......

wow that must have been really difficult for her to see. I know id be a bit jealous if my ex was getting engaged infront of me no matter how over him i was.

oh god, he could barley stay with a girl without cheating on her[Jessica, Alex M, Lauren...]let alone MARRY someone!! i feel bad for that poor person whoever she is, but unless she lives under a rock (or another counrty[does The Hills play outside of the US]??) she must be a really forgiveing person........ or not believe everything she sees..... hMmMmMmMmMmMmMmMmMm....

Heheh yes- The Hills does play outside the US and if not, you can always check the MTV website to watch the episodes....yes, his finance must really trust him (and love him) to be able to see through all his previous bad boy behavior and what he could still be capable of. Seriously, I think the media played it up a bit, always showing him doing something wrong, rather him doing something good. We saw on the Hills and Laguna he had a soft side, however had problems choosing whether he wanted to commit or live the bachelor life. Overnight stardom didn't help much either. He admits his problems and went to rehab to do something about them-so you have to admire him for that!

Lauren must have been jealous (unless he told her first) when he proposed. I mean jealously is a natural human response-even if your ex is going out with someone else....but to propose....?!! It'll be NOT normal to NOT be jealous!!! Especially if you have had an relationship saga like them two...

Back in the Laguna days, I thought the worse of Jason. But then you have to remember, he was a teenage boy..... I think that he really grew up this season... When he was dating Lauren the first season he was like the guy he was in Laguna but rehab could have done him some good? Like Lauren said to Jason, "you seem different." I do find it a bit sad that he would ask a girl to marry him in front of Lauren. I hope he sat down and told Lauren before he proposed.... According to next weeks episode, she seems a little surprised and a bit hurt. I don't think that she really moved on because she hadn't found someone to make her happy again - all of her dates have been bad. I also was a bit disturbed that Jason was asking her to go out with him and keeping her in the dark that he had a girlfriend. In any case, I hope they can stay friendly to each other and one day Lauren will find her prince charming.

It's sad. And hard to be in Laurents position. I don't think she knew. It's a surprise to everyone. i owlud have never tohught he would be getting engaged.

i saw that part on a commercial but if im correct, i thought i saw jason ask lauren to be his girlfriend, now hes about to be engaged??? woah, either one: he was going out with this chick while leading lauren on or two: he gets engaged very very quickly........but isnt it airing like this week, or next week.
