Split Decision
AIRED:
John 'Jake' McElhaney will do anything to make a sale, absolutely anything. Faced with losing his job, he decides to make his next sale really count, and thinks he has it made when he signs on to work for the Packard twins, two women who have problems sharing and so split everything directly down the middle. Frances makes it clear straight away that she likes Jake, but Jake also plays up to Priscilla, hoping to not only sell the house for the two women but sell each of them homes as well. Unfortunately, the bond between the sisters is stronger than any bond they could form with him.moreless

Really Reminiscent of a TFTC comic I once read, but nonetheless, a quite entertaining episode. I believe I saw a censored version, because it left a lot to be desired in some spots however. Solid 7/10.

  • QUOTES (2)

    • The Hitchhiker: Jake McElhaney would've done anything for a sale. Now he's a permanent fixture in the garden, I guess if the Packard Sisters ever do sell, he'd go with the house.

    • The Hitchhiker: There goes Jake McElhaney. He thinks he's a charming sort of a guy. But charm can sometimes fool the charmer...and that's where the danger lies.

  • NOTES (1)

    • Nicholas Campbell filmed three episodes as The Hitchhiker, but in syndication, he has been editted out of the first two and his scenes re-shot with Page Fletcher. This episode is the only one of the three to still feature the original opening credits with Campbell, as well as feature Campbell as The Hitchhiker. As such, this is the only episode of the series that Page Fletcher does not appear in. It is unknown if this one was ever re-shot with Fletcher.
