    • TRIVIA (3)

      • Notice how when Ed goes to get the thermometer out of the drawer, he never actually looks in the drawer to see where the thermometer is. Yet somehow he knows EXACTLY where to pick it up even though he is looking back at Ralph the entire time.

      • Ralph accidentally calls the heating pad the sleeping pad

      • Ralph's supposed to be in so much pain from his strained back that he has trouble moving. But when it's time for him to go to the window to 'summon' Norton, Gleason bends over to open it without any effort whatsoever.

    • QUOTES (4)

      • Ralph: I asked you if you had any leftovers for last night's supper.
Alice: Ralph, we're eating at my mother's.
Ralph: I told you, I am not going to your mother's, I'm too tired, and I gotta get to bed early.
Alice: You'll still get to bed early. We'll go to mothers, eat supper, and come right home.
Ralph: Now you know I'm not that kind of a man! I'm not the kind that eats and runs.
Alice: Eats and runs? The way you eat, you're lucky that you can walk.

      • Norton: Hey, Ralph. What's the normal temperature, around ninety eight, ain't it?
        Ralph: Ninety-eight point six.
Norton: What would you say a bad temperature is?
Ralph: Hundred and two, hundred and three... what is it, Norton? What is my temperature? (pause) WHAT'S MY TEMPERATURE, NORTON?!
Norton: (cries out) A HUNDRED AND ELEVEN!

      • Ralph: Whoaaaa! It certainly looks like RAIN tonight!!

      • Uncle: "It's good to see you Ralph!"
