    • TRIVIA (3)

      • When the lady tells Alice that the babysitting job is "only 3 blocks from here" and the address is 383 Himrod St.
Alice's address is on 328 Chauncey st and 383 Himrod street is about 2 miles from there.

      • Ralph flubs his lines when scolding Norton at the barber shop.He barely makes it thru his lines.

      • At the end of the episode it is implied that they are going to keep the phone which of course never shows up in future episodes

    • QUOTES (7)

      • Ralph: What's the matter, yelling out the window is too good for you now? What, was it raining out?
Alice: Yelling out the window is bad manners.
Ralph: Don't you make any nasty remarks about my mother. She's been yelling out the window for eighty years.
Alice: Yeah? And before she lost her voice, there were more people listening to her than to Amos 'n' Andy.

      • Ed: Va-va-va-voom!

      • Ralph "The bills will get bigger and bigger and i'll get less to eat. I'll start losing weight. Then you know what i'll look like?"
        Alice "Yea, a human being"

      • Alice"Seaman cramden 3rd class is retiring to the poop deck until this big wind blows over"

      • (Ralph to Alice) "What am I doin here?!, Don't you think the shoe should be on the other foot!?,well isn't this cozey?....cocktails"

      • (Ralph) "C'mon out Harv!"

      • Harvey Jr. looks at Ralph with his raccoon coonskin cap and says, "Gee! I never knew Davy Crockett was so fat!"

    • NOTES (1)

      • The original title of this episode was supposed to be "Bensonhurst 3-7741" (after the Kramden's new number). However, it was discovered that was an actual working number- so not only was the episode title changed, the soundtrack was altered so that every time the phone number was mentioned, it became "Bensonhurst 0-7741" [there was no "Bensonhurst 0" in the New York telephone exchanges, so no one would "accidentally" call it and expect Alice or Ralph to answer!].
