Bea and Evie ponder their lucky escapes and Aunt Lydia is livid with Arthur. The sisters are reunited with Evie’s Godfather, Sir Desmond, who offers them moral but not financial support. As their business prospers they struggle to find the investments they need to expand. Jack gets involved in the film industry and is made a director of The House of Eliott. An embittered Sebastian swears revenge on Arthur with devastating consequences. The extent of Arthur’s duplicity is exposed after the police raid The 25 Club. Aunt Lydia finds herself shunned by society as a consequence of Arthur’s illegal conduct. The public scandal causes a mixed reaction from The House of Eliott patrons.moreless
