  • Trivia

  • Quotes

    • Gray Hulk: (To the Rick Hulk) Whoa, friend. I'm on your side. The world doesn't care about us, because we're monsters! But I'll take care of ya, as long as you trust me. Do ya trust me? (The Rick Hulk nods) You'll never make it as a Hulk, kid. (Knocks him out) You're way too trusting!

    • Leader: I feel my brilliance fading, my psyche shrinking, my stupendous...stupendous...
      Gargoyle: Cerebrum?
      Leader: Yes, that! Gone!

    • Leader: (On his declining intelligence) Look at me: I have to use my fingers for quadratic equations!

    • Gargoyle: Release me!
Gray Hulk: Check this: A talking toad!
      Sterns: Please, don't!
Gray Hulk: What are you, a henchman lite? Wait your turn; I'll pulp ya in a second!
Sterns: We have a proposition for you.
Gray Hulk: (Gargoyle) ain't my type.

    • Judge: Bruce Banner is no more the Hulk than you or I!

    • Ross: Banner? Is that you?
Gray Hulk: Yeah, it's me. Big, bad, boring Banner. Betty! Rick! Pffft! Gimme a break!

    • Gargoyle: A gray Hulk? Now there's a color I can relate to!

    • Leader: The Green Hulk's gamma power was simply too primal for my complex intellect. You, however, are a less savage brute, and a perfect donor.
Gray Hulk: Well then, let me redefine 'savage' for you!!

  • Notes

    • The opening credits are changed for this season. Instead of featuring on a title card, the name of the episode and the writer/director credits are shown on-screen, just before the opening sequence.

    • From this episode onward, the show's name is changed to The Incredible Hulk and She-Hulk. The opening sequence is also altered to feature the She-Hulk and Grey Hulk.

    • Gargoyal was in last season's opener.

    • This episode marks the last appearance of Rick Jones in the series.

    • During the trial, the prosecuter tells the Judge, "Bruce Banner is no more the Hulk than you or I!" That's true - the judge was voiced by Michael Donovan, who also provided the voice of the Gray Hulk.

    • Having the Gray Hulk trying to get rid of Bruce Banner was a plot twist from Peter David's run on the comic book.

    • The Gray Hulk has a different design than he had in the flashback in Return of the Beast Part 1 and at the end of Darkness and Light Part 3.

    • Starting with this episode, the show takes a different turn. The military is no longer hunting the Hulk and has few appearances from the Leader and Gargoyle.

    • Cree Summer (She-Hulk) and Michael Donovan (Gray Hulk) join the cast.
