EDIT
Freezing, Bruce is in the Canadian wilderness and looking for Doctor Walter Lankowski. Transforming into Hulk, however, saves his life and gets him into a nearby town. Hulk befriends young Taylor and his puppy, Scout, but the rest of the town mistakes him for the dangerous Sasquatch – forcing him to flee. Reverting out in the cold, Bruce wakes up in the home of Walter – who knows the truth and has agreed to help him. Bruce later learns just how much of a stake Walter has in the experiment – he and Sasquatch are one in the same. Trivia, Notes, Quotes and Allusions

    FILTER BY TYPE

    • TRIVIA (1)

      • At the beginning of the episode Banner is wearing only his torn pants, yet no sign of shivering because of the cold. Not even when he falls onto the ice with his his chest and belly and slides a bit.

    • QUOTES (9)

    • NOTES (4)

      • This is the first episode where The Hulk is not being chased by the army. It takes a break from all that.

      • Rick does not appear in this episode.

      • Sasquatch had previously appeared on the "X-Men" episode "Repo Man" with the rest of his Alpha Flight teammates.

      • In the comics, Dr. Walter Lankowski was trying to unlock the power of the Hulk with gamma rays. However, the gamma rays didn't directly mutate his cells; rather, the gamma energy breached an interdimensional barrier, and allowed Lankowski to channel a mystical being called Sasquatch (which explains why he's the only gamma-irradiated being who isn't green). Of course, Lankowski thought that it was due to the gamma for a long time.

    • ALLUSIONS (1)

      • Taylor: Hey, isn't your picture on all the green bean cans?
A reference to the Jolly Green Giant food company, and it's mascot. In the comics The Hulk has often been referred to as "The Not-so-jolly green giant".
