David Banner poses as a top physics doctor to infiltrate a research complex in order to access some gamma-ray equipment that may just be able to cure him of his green alter ego. He is about to start the attempt of reversing his condition when an earthquake strikes, blowing his cover, causing mass destruction and devastation, and setting off an impending core melt-down.

The earthquake in this episode is said to measure 6.9 on the Richter scale.
As David assumes the identity of Dr. Patterson, he wears eyeglasses. Those appear to be Bill Bixby's own prescription glasses.
Alias: Poses as Dr. Robert Patterson
Unconvincingly, the Hulk merely lightly touches an intercom on the wall for it to explode!
Footage from the movie "Earthquake"(1974) is edited into the earthquake-scene in this episode.
Sherry Jackson (Dr. Diane Joseph) also played Andrea in the episode "What Are Little Girls Made Of?" of Star Trek:TOS.
The episode is titled, "Earthquakes Happen." This is an allusion to the common saying "s--t happens." Which means no matter how well you plan, things can go wrong.
