Alias: David Barker
Job: Dishwasher & Magician's Assistant
When David is thrown into the trunk of the car, there's no indication that he's transforming into the hulk until he appears. We don't see him transforming, and the "Hulk aura" isn't played.
Earl: (to David) What are you doing, resting your dishpan hands? I should have asked for references.
Jasper: (to David) I've been thrown out of better places than that so-called diner.
Jasper: David, I'm a magician, not a locksmith.
Jasper: (to Lily) A magician never wants to give up the illusion.
The house where the wedding takes place appears to be the same house used in the season one episode Of Guilt, Models, and Murder.
In addition to the television series My Favorite Martian, the title of this episode may also be a reference to The Magician, a 1973 series that starred Bill Bixby. Also, the title character in My Favorite Martian was played by this episode's guest star Ray Walston. Therefore this episode of The Incredible Hulk is a reunion for Bixby and Walston.
Jack Colvin (Jack McGee) does not appear in this episode.
The title of this episode, "My Favorite Magician," is an allusion to the TV series "My Favorite Martian." This is another series in which Bill Bixby starred.
