      • (David has regained some mobility)
Dr. Hart: I just can't believe it could happen, let alone overnight.
David: Maybe it was the fall?
        Dr. Hart: The fall?
        David: It's possible.
Dr. Hart: I suppose it's possible. Strange things have happened. I just have never been around them.

      • Paul: (to Jack McGee) Just because a man's legs are crippled doesn't mean his mind is, or his feelings. People got to learn that!

      • Bartender: Hey, what do you think? A suit or a sport coat?
Jack McGee: Do you got a blue suit? You can't go wrong in a blue suit.

      • Paul: Listen, I got a story for you.
Jack McGee: Yes, I was hoping you would.

      • Paul: They say I'm not qualified for a loan. They'll see how qualified I am when I rob their bank.
David: Oh come on, Paul, that's not going to help.
Paul: I'm going to give the money back on local TV. All I want is the publicity.
David: But it's not worth the risk!
Paul: Hey, it's just a starter's gun. Nobody's gonna get hurt.
David: Really? Well, bank guards don't happen to use starter's guns!

      • Bartender: (to Jack McGee) Say, should I wear a tie for the picture?

      • (David goes to talk with Paul, after the latter receives a form letter rejecting a loan request)
Paul: I guess I acted like a kid.
        David: Nobody felt that way.

      • Paul: (Realizing that the Hulk's sudden arrival coincided with David's miraculous recovery) You know, David, it doesn't take a genius to figure out you're tied in with that creature.

      • Paul: (to David) Just because you can't walk life doesn't stop. Just changes. How it changes is up to you.

      • Paul: (to David) I've got a hunch it's freak show time.

      • Paul: You can't give me a loan?
Mr. Melton: We're making very few to small businesses. Hardly any.
Paul: But you are making them.

      • Paul: Why don't you tell me the real reason you're turning me down?
Mr. Melton: I beg your pardon?"
Paul: What other requirements can't I fill? Or maybe I'm required to stand up and walk to get a loan. Could that be it, Mr. Melton?
Melton: Mr. Corton, I assure you your handicap is not a factor.
Paul: Come on, I'm not stupid. You made me the loan five years ago. The only real difference between then and now is that I'm in this wheelchair!
Melton: Mr. Corton, I don't make the rules here.
