James Franciscus had already starred in the first season of "Naked City". James Philbrook had starred the previous season on "The Islanders". Mary Murphy had asked Marlon Brando what he was rebeling against in "The Wild Ones". Producer/creator Michael Garrison would go on to create and produce "The Wild, Wild, West". Executive Producer Richard Irving would help develop "Columbo" and "The Six Million Dollar Man." Extremely attractive actors and capable producers weren't enough. This show felt something like an inferior remake of "Checkmate". The characters and stories just had no juice. There was plenty of talent here in front of and behind the camera, but somehow it was all to no avail.
