Produced by Michael Tear of Bearcage, comedian Fiona O'Loughlin hosts this special on the history of the Irish in Australia. Featuring interviews, on-location visits and reenactments, the documentary-style program will highlight the contributions the Irish have made to Australia from culture and religion to sport, language and politics. Australian-born O'Loughlin will also discover more about her own Irish heritage, beginning in South Australia where her forefathers first settled. Writer Thomas Keneally and comedian Dave Callan will also appear.
