Dennis tells Jack he's been with him for 17 years.
Mrs. Day: I don't want you to pick on my boy Dennis.
Jack: I've got a right to pick on him. He's been with me for seventeen years and has made me a nervous wreck! There isn't a Sunday he doesn't drive me nuts.
Mrs. Day: Well, what are you complaining about? We've got him the rest of the week.
(asking why Dennis came made his entrance from the wrong side of the stage)
Dennis: Well, if I came out from over there, I would have had to step over Don Wilson.
Jack: Step over Don Wilson?
Dennis: He fell asleep during your monologue.
Dennis: I'm feeling a little drowsy myself.
