Jack: (after Don Wilson was forced to do a commercial while skipping a rope) It wasn't bad. The audience loved it out there.
Don: I guess it was all right.
Jack: You guess? Don, you were wonderful! How do you know? Maybe tonight a star was born. With you it could be the Big Dipper.
Jack: (monologue, talking about his last show) The reviews came in. I read 'em, I burned 'em, now let's forget about 'em.
Jack: (talking instruments with Tony Martin) I was offered $3000 for my violin.
Tony: Now wait a minute, Jack. Who'd ever offer you $3000 for your violin?
Rochester: Everybody in the neighborhood chipped in!
