AIRED:

Jack Carter's guests include actor David Niven and singer Dorothy Claire. Regulars include Bill Callahan and Donald Richards. With the World Series ending earlier in the day, Carter plays a baseball fan who insists on realism when watching the games on TV: he has his wife dress as a hotdog vendor, etc. Claire sings "Home Cooking" with Carter. The finale is "Life Begins in Hades" with Carter as the devil. Niven plays an upscale hobo who'd sold his soul. Richards sings "You Are Flame." Callahan does a ribbon dance.
