When her marriage to his father, Darrel Bishop, now Shaheed Adbulah failed, his grandparents, Mark and Estelle M.Talley, stepped in and at age 7 months adopted him too. Jamie started playing the piano at the age of 3. He says he had a very rigid upbringing that placed him in the boy scouts and the church choir. During high school, he played quarterback for his high school team , the Terrell Titans and was good enough that he got press in Dallas newspapers. Jamie attended Julliard for classical piano and in 1986-1988 he also attended the United States International University where he studied music. In 1985 his Grandfather Mark passed away. In 1989 he changed his name to Jamie Foxx as a dare to get up on stage at the San Antonio Improv". That led to his being cast in "Roc". In 1992-1994 he became a regular on "In Living Color", which let to such movies as 1992 "Toys," 1993-Straight From the Foxxhole. Jamie first cd Peep This came out in 1994. His daughter Corrine was born in 1995. Corrine lives with her mother. Jamie became a regular on the WB television station with his own show, The Jamie Foxx Show. The show ran for five years, from 1996-2001. Jamie has two other stand-up comedy dvds, Unleashed-1997 and I Might Need Security-2002 Jamie has also been in movies such as: 1997-Booty Call, 1998-The Players Club, 1999-Any Given Sunday, which he sang the title song. Jamie has also been in Held Up in 2000 and Bait in 2000t. He costarted with Will Smith in 2001 in Ali. In 2003 Jamie starred in Shade. The year of 2004 turned out to be Jamies biggest and best year. He starred in movies such as Breakin' All The Rules, Redemption and Collateral. Jamies biggest accomplishment came with his portrayal of Ray Charles in the movie Ray. Jamie received many awards including the Critics Choice, Golden Globe, Screen Actors Guild, NAACP and finally the Oscar for his beautiful portrayal of legendary soulman Ray Charles. Jamie lost his dear Grandmother Estelle right before the movie came out in theaters. He remembered her in all of his beautiful and heartfelt acceptance speeches. Jamie has since then worked on and finished movies such as Stealth and Jarhead, which will be in the theaters later this year. He is now working on the big screen movie of Miami Vice. He has also been signed on to be in Dreamgirls. Jamie is also in the studio working on his second cd to be released soon. Jamie is a wonderful musician, comedian and a fantastic actor.moreless

    Another of Julliard's illustrious alumni, Garret Morris' first significant professional job was as performer and arranger with the Harry Belafonte singers. Morris went on to appear in such Broadway productions as Porgy and Bess, Hallelujah Baby, and Ain't Supposed to Die a Natural Death. He also wrote two plays, The Secret Place and Daddy Picou and Marie LeVeau. His first film gig was as a makeup artist on This Property is Condemned (1967); he made his movie acting bow in 1970. After a season's worth of supporting appearances on the 1973-74 sitcom Roll Out, Morris was hired as one of the Not Ready for Prime Time Players on NBC's Saturday Night Live. After his SNL stint, Morris could be seen in film supporting roles, most amusingly as "Famous Amos" takeoff Chocolate Charlie in the otherwise indifferent 1985 horror film The Stuff. He also made a return visit to Broadway, starring in I'm Not Rappaport. Back on TV, Garret Morris was seen regularly as Stan Kemrite on Martin (1992-1994) and on the weekly sitcoms of Ellen Cleghorne and Jamie Foxx.moreless

Already fluent in French and Creole, Beauvais-Nilon learned English watching Sesame Street. When she was 16 her family moved to Miami, where she whet her appetite for acting through stage plays at school. She began modeling in print ads, catalogs and commercials at age 17. After signing with Ford Models in New York, she appeared in layouts for Avon, Clairol and Mary Kay Cosmetics, as well as a number of magazine layouts and catalogs.
